  • Dungeness Crab

Oregon is right in the middle of prime Dungeness crab habitat. As well as being prolific in our region, Dungeness is a valued food product. Dungeness crabs produce more meat per unit than any other crab —25% of their body weight is meat.

  • Oregon Dulse

Seaweed is on the rise as an aquaculture (agricultural) specialty crop in Oregon. Unlike other plant-based proteins, dulse seaweed only requires fresh sea water and sunshine to grow.

  • Oregon Groundfish

Groundfish encompasses 90+ different species of fish, including lingcod, rockfish (aka “snapper”), sablefish (aka “blackcod” or “butterfish”), pacific whiting, as well as halibut, sole, and flounder and many more.

  • albacore tuna

The albacore tuna, known also as longfin tuna, has a long and illustrious history as a key fishery in the United States canning industry. Today in Oregon, each fish is caught one at a time by hook and line, making it highly sustainable with virtually no by-catch.
