Coordinated marketing strategies can elevate the visibility of our region’s seafare products and help grow a vibrant customer base.

Better communication between values-aligned partners can create shared distribution opportunities that allow for more efficient and consistent delivery, backhaul opportunities, and increased sales.

5-Year Goal

Create a collaborative marketing and shared distribution system for the Oregon Coast. We are beginning to execute these strategies.

Activities

  • Continue to build and grow the marketing and distribution working group and launch a shared distribution pilot.

  • Evaluate collaborative marketing opportunities and develop a cohesive implementation strategy. Create a sustainable distribution plan to support these marketing and sales efforts.

  • Develop a proposal for a dedicated dispatch lead or “benevolent broker” that can serve all partners efficiently.

  • Secure funding for the dedicated dispatcher or broker to coordinate and champion regional sales.
